Would you like to have Jesus become even more real to you than he already is? Do You Want “Good News?”
If you'll join Reverend Don Cunningham in TTUMC's Wesley Room at 8:45 am. on Sunday, February 22nd, your hope may well be realized during this new Christian Living Seminar. If the Sunday morning schedule is rearranged between now and then, the time may be adjusted. Should there be changes to our Sunday schedule, be assured we'll let you know.
For at least the following twenty-one weeks, you, Rev. Cunningham and others will be treated to the depth and insights of the Gospel according to John, the “good news.” Discover, as the Apostle John did, how the word of God became flesh and hence relative to you and those you cherish. Since there are twenty-one chapters in John's Gospel, our study should last at least that long.
However it is possible that you, your fellow worshipers and Rev. Cunningham will discover so much meaning in John's testimony that we'll need far more time.

Why study this Gospel? Bishop Tom Wright informs us that, "Countless people down the centuries have found that, through reading this gospel, the figure of Jesus becomes real for them, full of warmth and light and promise. It is, in fact, one of the great books in the literature of the world; and part of its greatness is the way it reveals its secrets not just to high-flown learning, but to those who come to it with humility and hope.”
So come: with humility and hope. Perhaps we too shall discover some new reality about Jesus coming alive in our lives.
